What should an invoice include?
A clear invoice gets paid faster and keeps your records tidy. Most invoices should show:
- Your business name, address and contact details
- Your customer's name and address
- A unique invoice number
- The issue date and the payment due date
- A description, quantity and price for each item or service
- Any VAT, GST or sales tax, with the rate and amount
- The total amount due, in the right currency
- How to pay you, such as bank details, PayPal or UPI
If you're registered for VAT or GST, your tax number usually has to appear on the invoice too. The rules differ by country, so check what your tax authority requires. InvoPanda has a field for everything above.

Is InvoPanda really free?
Yes. InvoPanda is completely free to use, with no subscription, no limit on how many invoices you create and no watermark on your PDFs.
Do I need to create an account?
No. You can create, download and share invoices without signing up. Your business details are remembered in your browser so you don't have to type them again.
Is my invoice data stored on your servers?
No. Everything you type stays in your own browser. Invoices aren't uploaded or saved in a database. Share links carry the invoice inside the link, so only people with the link can open it.
Can I add VAT, GST or sales tax?
Yes. You can set a tax name such as VAT, GST or IVA, give each line its own rate, and enter prices including or excluding tax. Net, tax and gross totals are worked out for you.
How do I send an invoice to my customer?
Download it as a PDF and attach it to an email, or click Share link to send it by email, WhatsApp or any messaging app. Your customer can open it on any device and download their own PDF copy.
Which currencies can I use?
Any currency in the world. InvoPanda suggests your local currency automatically, and you can search for another by its code, its name or a country.
Can I add my logo to the invoice?
Yes. Upload your logo in the From section and it appears on every invoice, PDF and share link.
Can I use it on my phone?
Yes. InvoPanda works in any modern browser on phones, tablets and computers. On a phone you can switch between editing and previewing the invoice.
Can I create quotations and credit notes too?
Yes. Change the document type to Quotation or Credit Note. Each type has its own numbering, such as QUO-0001 and CN-0001.
